I’ve spent over 15 years in social services and the helping professions. I didn’t learn about workplace stress from a textbook — I’ve lived it, navigated it, and built tools that work because of it.

I’m a wellness educator, and 18-year social services professional based on Vancouver Island, BC. I spent years doing the work that burns people out — supporting others through crisis, navigating complex systems, and trying to hold it all together at home and at work.
When I burned out myself, I realized something: the wellness tools I’d been taught didn’t fit my actual life. They assumed I had time, space, and energy I didn’t have. So I started building tools that worked in the margins — in two-minute moments between meetings, in the car before walking through the front door, in the 90 seconds between clients.
That’s how The 2-Minute Shift™ Toolkit was born. It’s a practical, science-backed framework for nervous system regulation that meets people exactly where they are — in the middle of their demanding, messy, beautiful real lives.
